Sze Ning Ooi (黄思凝) is a Community and Social Innovation Intrapreneur with a background in sustainable transport and urban planning.

Her experience spans local and central government roles as well as the private sector, where she has worked on city-shaping transport and climate mitigation strategies and collaborated with communities and Māori to pilot innovative solutions for more equitable, sustainable and inclusive transport outcomes.

She is driven by a vision of a fairer and more climate resilient Tāmaki Makaurau. As an Intrapreneur, she aims to leverage the large investments in transport to deliver positive social and environmental outcomes for the region by channelling strategic partnerships and community innovation.

Originally from Penang, Malaysia, she spent time in Ōtepoti as a student and now lives with her family in Tāmaki Makaurau.
